WHO WE ARE :

The D’Aboville Foundation and Demo Farm, Inc. is a French-Filipino non-profit, non- government organization established in 2004 to work with the indigenous Mangyans, environment, and eco-cultural tourism in the Island of Mindoro in the Philippines.

The Foundation has four principal platforms of action:

  • alleviation of poverty and the preservation of the cultural heritage of the Mangyan indigenous people

  • the protection of the environment and biodiversity;

  • development of sustainable agriculture and organic farming practices;

  • uplifting of the community through responsible tourism and eco-friendly development.

OUR MISSION :

The Foundation works towards the provision of education and livelihood opportunities for the Mangyans, the preservation of indigenous culture, conservation of nature, sustainable development, and eco-cultural tourism in the Island of Mindoro in the Philippines.

The unique natural and cultural heritage of the Island of Mindoro is preserved for future generations and the livelihood of its people is enhanced.

OUR GOALS :

  • To protect, preserve, and develop the environment and to increase the awareness of its importance;

  • To protect and preserve endangered species;

  • To protect and preserve the indigenous culture and heritage of Philippine tribes namely the Mangyan tribes of Mindoro;

  • To provide free education to indigent and deserving members of the community;

  • To provide rural development and electrification,

  • To promote the Bay of Puerto Galera and the Island of Mindoro, and

  • To develop and promote responsible tourism in the Philippine.
