Despite continuous rains for more than ten days, twenty-five Taobuid led by IPRM Allan Lumawig and Engineer Denniz Magpali from the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) successfully completed ground delineation of the boundaries of the Taobuid ancestral domain in the Northern part of Oriental Mindoro. The delineation is part of the process of application for a Certificate of Ancestral Domain Title (CADT) by the Taobuid which was started more than a decade ago, with the leadership of the NCIP. The completion of the delineation in the Oriental Mindoro side is a big milestone toward the awarding of the title. DAF is supporting the process as part of a bio-cultural landscape approach with Taobuids in Mounts Iglit-Baco Natural Park.
