This last week of March, DAF was finally able to visit Hiraya Farm and Resort in Gloria, Oriental Mindoro, a permaculture development site and a learning center for agriculture accredited by the Agricultural Training Institute. This was the opportunity for DAF team and staff collaborators from Mounts Iglit-Baco Natural Park Protected Area Management Office to get additional tips from our Philippine Permaculture Association consultants partner based on a different environmental context on how permaculture can be used to enhance a place. On the way back to Occidental Mindoro, the team passed by Gabutero Organic Farm in the municipality of Bongabong in the same province.
