In congruence with the camera trap retrieval activity of TCP in the Aruyan-Malati Region on April 29–30, 2024, TCP and DAF have decided to use this opportunity for TCP rangers to practice collecting real-world field observations using the Spatial Monitoring and Reporting Tool (SMART). This opportunity also paved the way for both offices to collect preliminary information on the Community-Tamaraw Land Use Conflict in Aruyan-Malati and find ways to promote coexistence between Tamaraw and indigenous people.
This activity is supported by the SEGRE Foundation, ZSL, ZGAP, and ASAP.
