Designing new rangers station for tamaraw landscape protection coordination

DAF and TCP, together with Bert Peeters, our petmaculture partner, visited the site of Carindan, in Sta Cruz, Occ Min, where a new rangers station is being built  through support of DAF partners (ZGAP and Segre Fd). The site is located near the bridge of the Amnay river, the entry point to reach the isolated tamaraw population of inner Mindoro, in the territories of the Alangan tribe.

The visit aimed to explore how permaculture techniques and principles could help enhance the place as a community coordination center, food production demonstration system and headquarter to plan anf launch protection and conservation research activities.
