𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙢𝙚𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙏𝙖𝙤𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙬 𝙨𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙯𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙄𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙩-𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙤 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙠

On July 4, the @Tamaraw Conservation Program (TCP) and @Mounts Iglit-Baco Natural Park - Protected Area Management Office (MIBNP_PAMO) together with the @D'ABOVILLE Foundation and Demo Farm, Inc., conducted a community workshop with the Taobuid to discuss and agree on the contents of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) on the expansion of a tamaraw safe zone in MIBNP. The meeting was held at Station 1, Magtangkob, barangay Poypoy, municipality of Calintaan. 

The expansion area will be composed of two units: a fagfatungkudan mangilafang (reserve for reproduction), which in terms of management policies is similar to a strict protection zone of the park, and a kalaanan laman Tamisan Dos (a fallow area reserved for the community of Tamisan Dos. 

The agreement includes the establishment of a ranger station and the deployment of park and tamaraw rangers in the area by both TCP and MIBNP-PAMO.
